So it’s been a while since I last wrote. Things got better and worse and they’re looking up finally. I finally got better in terms of health-NO MORE PIGGIES! I’m finally healthy. It feels great. However, when attending college in a high work load course, I do not recommend missing two weeks of precious class time. I got back to residence on the Saturday night. I took the train-which by the way was terrifying. When I arrived back it was just me and my psycho roommate. Cassie was home that weekend and Lisa was missing. I was unpacking all my junk and I heard the room door open; so I of course ran to see who it was. When I saw that it was Laura and Lisa I screamed out of excitement. It was really great to be ‘home.’
So with Monday, came the stress of missing five exams and two weeks worth of lectures. So last week I wrote Medical Sciences, Pharmacy Fundamentals and Retail Dispensing. That was incredibly stressful seeing as how Medical Science is my worst class to deal with. Then this week I wrote History & Future of Healing and Computers, which was not as bad. I finally got my MedSci mark today. And guess what? I passed! I got a 70% which in turn led to me no longer failing the class! So I believe I screamed like I was dying, did a happy dance and called my mama. haha She was very excited for me too; she knew I was very worried about my mark.
You’re probably wondering why the title of this post is “Celebratory Chicken.” Well tonight after writing my final exam, I made myself a celebratory dinner of a grilled chicken breast, corn and mashed potatoes. It was absolutely delicious and it made me very happy. It’s great to know that I’m finished my exams…for now. In four weeks I will be freaking out about my final exams of my first semester of college. But until then I will be working hard and trying to stay relaxed.
This week is also a very busy week. Thursday-Laura, Andrew, Cassie, Kayla and I are going to see the premiere of New Moon. Friday is my twentieth birthday. As you can imagine we will be partying our hearts out. I’m seriously looking forward to it. It’s gonna be a blast and I’m excited to see all my friends. We’re going to dinner at The Outback Shack and then coming back up to our room and getting our drink on. I’m sure there will be some intense pictures to come.
Anyhow, that’s enough for tonight. I will come back with some great stories I hope. Love you lots.
xoxo

Them Piggies Are Runnin' Through Her Veins...
Welcome to the new and improved blog of the one, the only, Amy Lynn! haha Dramatic? Perhaps. But that's who I am. Get used to it, or perhaps you should visit a new blog; but I can assure you, I'm pretty damn amazing. ;) But no, seriously now let's get to it, shall we?
My name is Amy or Amy Lynn if I'm in trouble. Which happens on a regular basis... I'm nineteen but only for eighteen more days. Then, I'll be twenty; but I'm sure y'all can count. I come from a medium sized town in Southern Ontario who's name is irrelevant. At the moment I live in London; no, not England. I go to school there for Pharmacy Tech--which although pretty intense, I absolutely adore. I have met some incredible people and learned some pretty neat information. Along the way, I'll share some interesting information about both, I'm sure. I was diagnosed with manic depression or Bipolar disorder when I was fourteen. I've had many struggles since then-but I'm learning to live stronger. I’m terrified of spiders, fire, lightning, being alone and the dark. I love the smell of autumn, dancing in the rain, singing, girl’s nights in, walking my dogs and going camping. You know, in case you wondered!? I can be a pretty complex person or simple, depending at how you look at it...
So whats new and exciting in the world of Amy? Well at the moment I am fighting the H1N1 Virus off. [Hence the title!] I've been sick for eight days now and I'm going slightly insane. I've been at my real home since last Friday. I miss my friends, my classes, the noises and smells of the city. I hate to think that if I don't get back soon, I'm going to fail out of school... I'm hoping to be back by the end of the week. At this very moment, I am listening to Forever and Always the piano version by Taylor Swift-whom I adore. :D I'm chatting to Cassie about her new car. Cassie, by the way is my best friend whom I've known since we were in the second grade and we now live together at college! She's crazy and funny and overall amazingness. I can tell her anything and she'll totally judge me for it but it's what I love about her. She tells it exactly how it is but she's there for me when I need her most. I'm also talking to Laura who is my new best friend who I met at college and I love her too. She just gets me and we're a lot alike in some ways. Laura is absolutely beautiful and deserves everything she could ever imagine but sometime I feel like she doesn't see it like it is. Then there's Andrew. What can I say, I love him too. He's like a brother to me. He's always there when I need cheering up or a hug-just because. There's also Chantal, she's like the big sister I'll NEVER have. She's very intelligent and always know what to say. I could trust her with my life. Then there's Kayla but you'll hear more about her and everyone else as this blog progresses.
I think that this is a good taste of what is to come, so I'm going to end it here. But don't forget to come back and keep reading.
xoxo, Amy
